August 18^th sees the introduction of a flyweight title at UCMMA, and who better to contest it than Spencer Hewitt and Giorgio Andrews.

Hewitt, who fights out of MMA Terror Squad and is currently riding a 4 fight win streak is keen on changing Andrews’ status of an undefeated fighter when they meet in under 4 weeks time. George McCann of LOVE2FIGHT magazine caught up with Spencer ahead of the clash where he made it clear, that he intends to be the first person to stop Andrews.

Hello Spencer, firstly, How is training going for the fight at UCMMA 29?

Hello mate, for this fight we have called this the #dreamteam camp, as I have got all the best coaches and sparing partners that I could possibly have.

You run terror squad, is that your training base, or do you go elsewhere for your training?

It is my base and I bring in all my coaches and also bring in sparring partners that fight like my opponents, in this case Andrews.

You fight Georgio Andrews on August 18th, in the first ever flyweight title fight at UCMMA I believe, how does it feel that you are competing for the first flyweight title that UCMMA has had?

It feels good, UCMMA is my house and flyweight is my real weight division

You’re fighting a tough, undefeated fighter in Georgio, from London shootfighters, what do you expect from him?

I expect him to be aggressive, that's his style and to bring a full game – wrestling, kick boxing, bjj the lot. I will be the first to finish him on the 18^th of August

You recently won the flyweight title at CFC, is this weight where you think you belong? Compared to bantamweight where we have seen you before?

Yes I can go all the way at flyweight, CFC was just a warm up for UCMMA 29

This is a very tough fight on paper for both of you involved, where would you rank it in terms of how tough a fight it is compared to your other fights previously?

I'm training like it’s my toughest fight to date

what would you like to achieve by the end of this year?

I don't fight to live... I live to fight, so yes, I love2fight!
