Saturday 6th October, UCMMA 30 Dayman Lake Vs Darren Towler

A heavyweight title fight has been booked for UCMMA 30 in October, as champion Darren Towler faces a stern test in challenger Dayman Lake.

The promotion announced the news to The Fight Lounge today.

Hailing from the North East of England and trained by UK MMA legend Ian “The Machine” Freeman, Darren Towler defeated “Big” Ben Smith in a rematch for the UCMMA heavyweight title which was vacated by Oli Thompson when he signed for the UFC.

Towler is currently riding a three-fight winning streak, beating Tomasz Czerwinski and Brad Conway as well as the aforementioned Smith.
